DIY - Paper Pinwheel Bouquet
Thursday, May 24, 2012 at 12:00PM Somewhere in these hurried years proceeding graduation, I’ve grown to adore pinwheels. They’re a symbol I cannot help but smile at, and serve as a reminder to take a deep breath and enjoy even the smallest comforts.
In this unfurling chapter of life, where our roles in the world are becoming increasingly more serious, there has got to be a place saved for the sweetness and innocence of youth.
I’ve crafted pinwheels in multiple mediums, but this has got to be my favorite so far. One of my sweet co-workers just got married, and as a send off we dressed up her desk with gifts.
I more or less came up with the method in a ‘stumble through Joann Fabrics until you’ve got something’ style, and couldn’t have been more pleased or relieved by the outcome. In fact, I couldn't resist a chance to share my little invention with all of you! Have a look see:

Pinwheel Bouquets make great centerpieces, housewarming gifts, party decorations, you name it! It’s a fun way to show your love for someone, or to create something wistful and sentimental for your home.
I’ve even toyed with the idea of pre-making kits and selling them on Etsy. If you love this project and want to try it out shoot me a message and let me know!
